jawa_j
i took about 100 pictures with my nikon d70s and then loaded them onto my computer they were self labled 1-100. i then went out and took a few more, when i put them onto my computer again it labeled it 1-20, it did not go on to 101-120, ie: the counter reseted itself... is there a way i can fix this, because like if i want to seve all my summer pics in one floder then it wouldnt let me save 2 pics with the same name in the same file... any help will be great thank u. todd peach seattle, washi
Look for 'file no. seq.' in the setup menu (the one with the wrench). pg. 159 in my manual. Set it to 'on'.
todd peach seattle, washi
Just realized you had an 's' model. Hopefully it's 'close enough' to the non-S model for my post to help.

charrisi
I have the D70. Even with the file sq.# ON, it still resets itself. I use something I found here, somewhere along the way, called SHUTTERCOUNT. That is the only way I've been able to keep track.
