joachim_hildebrand
Is there any way to use Hasselblad FE lenses with digital backs besides mounting them via adaptor on a Contax 645? The Hasselblad/Imacon backs don?t work as far as I know. Not that I wouldn?t buy a Contax for that purpose but I suspect that the next generation of digital MF backs will be usable with Contax 645. q.g._de_bakker
Joachim,

You better look for a system using leaf shutters in lenses. That increases the likelihood that backs will work immensely.
Many backs need to be able to fire the shutter or be fired by the shutter (through X-synch), and that shutter must be able to open fully at a wide range of speeds (i,e, not be a focal plane shutter).
Perhaps being a focal plane shutter camera in an increasingly digital world has helped the demise of Contax cameras, as well as that of the 200-series Hasselblad. dave margon
so does that mean that there are no FE (shutter less lens) to digital back options?
