maarten_van_viegen
hey, How can you check if a filter is in place on the hasselblad 30mm fish eye? the information i could find mentioned it's located at the back of the front element, so is there a way to "open" the lens? if so, how? thanks
j._mose
Turn the serrated grip behind the built-in lens hood while holding the lens hood with your other hand. The filter screws onto the cone of the front half of the lens. Reassemble the lens.
q.g._de_bakker
If i remember right (sadly, i don't have this lens...), there's a button/catch on that ring to press before the front part bayonets out of the rear part.<br>The threads on which the (clear) filter should sit are painted red, so you will see in an instant whether a filter is there or not. john_amiet2
QG is correct. Hold both parts firmly as you dis-assemble. They tend to be 'sucked' together by a partial vacuum that can form between them. When the two orange dots on the body are aligned, you can pull them apart, remember to grip firmly. If a filter is in place, you will see the edge inscription on it. It screws off. If missing, there will be a bright orange paint ring staring at you.
