thanz
(Let's see if I can do this) Anyone ever shoot panoramik imgs with an R'flex? I just picked up the pano' tri-pod adapter for my R'flex and it looks pretty simple to do, it allows the kamera to turn on it's nodal point (around the lenzes,I think). Any advice would be appreciated. Todd
Sandeha Lynch
I haven't stitched a panoramic for ages, but I'd suggest a good spirit level (not the button type) to check your pod both ways.
mskovacs
I think Gene M posted some really nice one's a while ago using the Rollei panoramic head. I hope he posts some more :)
miles_s.
I was advised by a Rolleiflex user who shot panoramics to use a stepladder, or tall tripod. He claimed he got better images that way. Also to start, I recommend, doing only three exposures to ensure you are rotating arround the nodal point.

bliorg
Hey, Todd -
I've used PTGui to stitch the images before. Nice program.
Looking forward to seeing the results.
Scott
bruce_appel
I did this in the past, no pano head, just used a protractor. It was something of pain to line the prints up in the darkroom.Tough to get equal density across several frames. Could this not be done digitally somehow? I would think stitching images together digitally would be easier that in the darkoom?

thanz
thanks for the links. Gene M, did you refocus on each shot or focus once and leave it there for subsequent shots? The waterfall image is outstanding and I also like the small town pano's as well! Todd
Guest
Todd - I refocused and checked light levels for each shot.
rustys pics
I have the panorama head but never used it. There is a Rollei Stereo slide that is really nice. The negs are just about the right size when contact printed for an old stereoptican viewer. Just mount on a card about 2.5 inches apart and voila! Stereo pics.
