mischa p.
I've been using proshow gold for in studio slideshows and recently updated my online gallery to a proshow slideshow as well but sadly it doesn't work on macs. So I'm looking for a program that can create a mac compatible slideshow from a PC. I thought quicktime PRO might work but (at least on pc) it doesn't seem to have a still image slideshow feature in 6 and while it says it does in the beta version of 7, it doesn't work. I know I could probably do a flash slideshow but everytime I've tried to use the program I've gotten lost. So... how about it? Anybody have a program for slideshow creation on PC that is Mac compatible (and not expensive)? Thanks, Mischa PS my photo gallery on makeweddings.com contains my current proshow slideshow. photoreu
You can create a flash slideshow with ACDsee7. It is super easy and the program is only $50. You can also create it as an .exe file, a .scr file (screensaver), and I think one other but I cant remember right now... It's also a really good program for going through lots of images. I use it for my initial edit before moving over to photoshop.
davidmadsen
Photoshop CS2 makes Flash galleries that have a slideshow option to the viewer and will also make a PDF slideshow. I just read about a program called Xtivity that is a Falsh authoring software without all the code. Probably like Dreamweaver is to HTML? These are not cheap options, though, unless you already have Photoshop. They may not be what you are looking for, but would work for MAC and PC.
