marcello dasilva
I have no clue how to put that back, any pdf/web page floating around on how to install that back. Thanks
frank uhlig
Problme is you need a little Nikon holder fork thing to not mar the screen by finger grease when you put it back in. Maybe there is a photo store within 50 miles of you? They might put it in in 5 seconds flat for you.
marcello dasilva
Ritz Camera, but they don't know nothing there.
Michael R Freeman
See page 65 of your instruction manual. If you are careful you can use your fingers instead of the tweezers to reinstall the screen. How in blazes did it fall out? Did you drop it? I would expect it would take a rather sharp blow to dislodge the screen frame.<div></div>
Michael R Freeman
"Ritz Camera, but they don't know nothing there." -- Marcello Dasilva Good instincts. Being from Canada I have never been in a Ritz, but from what I have heard/read I wouldn't let most Ritz employees come within 50 feet of an exposed SLR mirror / focusing screen. :-)
armando_roldan
Not to defend Ritz but 99.9% of most people working in camera stores no nothing about camera OR repair.

alex_lofquist
Usually, if Ritz finds a camera store with knowledgeable employees, they buy it out and fire the employees. (Can't break a precedent!)
