kennyahn
I am using a Rebel XT and trying to learn photography more. In so doing, I'd like to see what the camera settings were when I took each shot. Is there something within Canon's software that shows EXIF data? Is there some software I can purchase? I am a PC/Win XP user. Thank you.
jgaines
Zoombrowser which comes with Canon camera will show you the data. After you have started Zoombrowser, you can put your mouse pointer over a picture of interest, then right click, choose properties. This will show you the EXIF data. dxphoto
If you are a google fan, you should know picasa. give it a try. It shows exif data in a very nice way!! and it is by far the best image software I've used. Also Irfan viewer is another good tool to use. it will allow you to update the ExIF data after you download a plug-in from their website. Both software are free. Esp for the picasa, its only for PC users. One of the few things a PC user should be pround of over MAC users. :)
oskar_ojala
In Explorer, right clicking on the file and opening properties will have a tab where some EXIF data is displayed.
ben_rubinstein___mancheste
Canon EOS Viewer which came with your camera gives you information about almost every setting available on your camera.
ger_vermeulen
You can have a look at GexifView, look at download.
I need people to test the tool. Remarks/questions proposals are welcome.
