jermaine_scott
i just bought a contax tla 140 flash to go with my contax g1. i shot a roll of fuji neopan 400. almost all of the pictures with flash are over-exposed. i had everything set to auto on the camera with the flash set to ttl with varied f-stops. has anyone else experienced this? do you have particular settings to compensate for overexposure? thanks. kaiblanke
I do not use the TLA 140, but a Metz SCA 380 module for TTL flash with my G1. If I remember right, you have to set the exposure to X (=flash), otherwise the camera will expose for ambient light which with the flash will result in overexposure. <p> If you want fill-in flash with the TTL metering, you should 'underexpose' with both, flash and ambient light depending on how much influence each light source should have. For more information look after 'fill flash' in the TLA140 / G1 documentation or google on the web.
