I'll take him to task on his statement re Leica lens quality though... He claims any low-end medium format system will blow the Leica away; I've owned several medium format systems and the 645's weren't much different from my Nikons, let alone my Leicas. Granted, my 6x7's had some of that "smoothness of tonality" thing going on that my 4x5 view camera has in spades. BUT, my Leicas seem to have more "smoothness of tonality" than either of the 645 systems I tried did. But hey, each to their own... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It does remind me of a cartoon I liked though: a guy says, "hey, I've just bought the most sophisticated camera in the world, but I can't find anything worth photographing......"
