Which LF Polaroid film?

As a newcomer to LF I would like to try some Polaroid film. I have

facilities at College to enlarge from 5x4 and have tried Type 665 in

a packfilm camera, but now I have access to a Polaroid 545 back which

film to give a negative is preferred - Type 51 or Type 55?

Thanks for any suggestions

Jerry - thats what I thought, but the polaroid documentation suggests that while the print is high contrast, 'The accompanying re-usable negative is medium-contrast, with a wide tonal range' which is why I am looking for advice.

Thanks

Yeah. Interesting. I have never used the type 51 film, but they are saying you rate that

negative at ISO 80 in daylight. I definitely rate the Type 55 negative at ISO 25! Sheesh. I may

have to try Type 51 film - that is 1 1/2 stop faster.

I'm assuming they are approximately the same negative. Time to buy a box.

Regardless, once you expose for the negative, the print is useless - I assume you knew that.

So the 640 ISO print is not relevant. (I always throw the print away).
