jorge_torralba2
I know I said I would stop posting about the Zeiss 15. But, tonight a friend and I were having a little fun seeing who could hand hold their lens the steadiest. Him and his new tri-elamr or me and the zeiss 15. None the less, we we just shooting inside the house and bs'ing. So I shot this picture of my desk area at f4 without the ir filter 1/12 of a second hand held. The link will take you to the full size image converted to jpg. No post processing whatsoever, This picture is just to show the detail the lens captures on the edges. Look at the bottom right corner. Incredible for this wide lens. You can read the scale on my paper cutter leaning on the wall and the text on my photoshop book is so clear. Anyway, this is for those who wonder how well the lens performs on the edges. Oh you can see my IR filter on the desk :) http://farm1.static.flickr.com/163/414323471_82144ffb14_o.jpg
andy_coach
Jorge, nice shot. But for Pete's sake, clean up that desk! :)
karl_heinz_fink
Hi Jorge, did you find a new bug in M8? Looks like you got a big dead pixel instead of the typical green banding :-) Best regards Karl-Heinz
dave_chadderton
The Zeiss does look good, but I am appalled at the standard of mobile phone you have, given your ability to afford both an M8 AND a Zeiss 15/2.8 !!!!
vivek iyer
f/4. Is there any possibility to see any shots at f/2.8 or in between? It looks sharp but not all that great for the price because it has no RF coupling (a real shame). I have no comments about your desk other than a suggestion cover up the film carrier/scanner! :)
steve_huff1
Looks good. I have the Voigtlander 15 and find it great but would buy the Zeiss if I had the funds. Anyway, I snapped one of my temporary desk with the 15CV at 4.5. JPEG. It has been resized but the original is not that bad at all I think.<div></div>
a aa
Have you had the chance to use the new wide angle Tri-Elmar? If so, how does it compare at 16mm to the CZ lens?
steve_huff1
Here is a full size, ISO 640, converted JPEG, NO NR, 15 at 4.5, 1/15 using the CV 15.<div></div>
35mmdelux
Steve, I'll give you $50 for that Billingham.
jorge_torralba2
That CV looks impressive. Looks on par with the Zeiss. I have not had a chance to shoot with the tri-elamr yet. But my friend and I were exchanging pictures and they look really good with hardly any distortion. Yeap. That big dead pixel coincidentally was over a section on the screen I wanted to keep private. That worked out well.
james_cooke
Is the new wide angle Tri-Elmar out on the market now?
