roger_michel
the blackhawk tactical gear is just the absolute best. check out this piece in particular: http://www.dtdistributors.com/blpamogebagp.html it's in a whole 'nother league as compared to typical photo bags. needless to say (or paerhaps not), i have no connection whatsoever to blackhawk or this particular vendor. google blackhawk for more suppliers. basically any police supply outfit carries them

ben z
" if you're a bag junky like me . . ." My wife said the next bag I buy better be a sleeping bag.
paul_rybolt
I've been using one of the Blackhawk bags for a brief case. They have great support at the bottom and lot's of handy pockets. Bit big for a Leica, though.
dan_brown14
How ironic. As an avid shooter and one infected with BRD, I can tell you that many shooters look to camera bags as a 'discrete' alternative.
rod_fung
another bag company to consider is "MaxExpedition" Very cool stuff. Check out the fatboy model for discret carry.
roger_michel
hi -- the blackhawk bags come in many many versions. the m3 is actually a great camera bag, as well. the thing that is good about them is that they are just really really well made, will never fall apart, have tons of great compartments, and have a very simple style. great quality nylon and zippers. with all due respect to your fine bag, the eagle line is not the same as blackhawk at all in very subjective opinion. everything feels lighter and cheaper, if only very very slightly (i am trying to be diplomatic). it is a subtle thing to be sure, but these things often turn on subtlety. as for finding something more discrete, i just can't imagine that. happy trails!! furcafe
Sorry, but the description of the bag is like a parody of macho marketing gearspeak: Nytaneon! HawkTex! Nice looking bags, though kind of overkill for the average over-the-hill Leica shooter . . .
roger_michel
hey, it's a police/military website. these bags (various styles) can also be picked up cheap on ebay from guys returning from deployment. they all get them.
michael_j._kravit1
Great bag, it allows me to have my M7 tucked away safe right next to my Uzi.
