Mamiya RZ PRO II & AE prism finder:operation

As you can see, I own a Mamiya RZ Pro II & AE prism finder. But I'm no expert. When I look

through the prism finder, what do I expect to see? I ask this question because I fear that the

electronics may not be working properly. When I look through the finder and press the

button slightly, I see this when I hold it up to the florescent light: I see the letter A and the

number 4. Sometimes I see two numbers. I also see a little red dot that is near to a picture

of the mechanism that forwards the film. Is this what I'm supposed to see when I sleightly

press the button? Thanks for your help. PS. there is no online manual for the AE prism.
