johnson_d. Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 There are two versions of this lens, one with USM and one without. I personally own the USM version so I'm fairly certain it exists ;). ron c sunshine coast,qld,a Posted July 28, 2006 Share Posted July 28, 2006 As several have said allready the 75-300 models never had the good type ring USM. <P>In practice the micro usm they do use is slightly faster than the standard DC driven lens but that's about the only advantage it has.
