How legit? 3 new 4/3 lenses?

Anyone comment on the legitimacy of this? Any info on time of release?

Also, heard stuff about an E-3 and E-500... Am I just stirring the

rumour mill?

These 3 lenses are very legit.

As for the bodies, Olympus hasn't made official annoncements yet, but did send another coded message yesterday, which is <a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000101&sid=a6pl4zOohm1c">published by Bloomberg</a>.

If true, these would be the 2nd 3rd and 4th constant-aperture zooms

from Oly for 4/3, after the 7-14/4. Sorely needed, because although

out-of-camera color is reliably excellent with the E-1 and E-300,

perhaps best in the industry, DOF is too thick for portraiture at

(let's say) f/3.5 on the long end of the 14-54. It's like using a

108mm at f/7 it seems (yup, just checked with a 4/3 DOF calculator).

 

Would the E-3 and E-500 be higher- or lower-end than the E-1 and E-300?

supposedly the E-3 and E-500 would be the improvement over their predecessor so I

guess higher and more expensive (I personally hope not).

I read somewhere that the new E3 will be 9.8 MP, whilst Panasoic is releasing one (Q1?) with 11 MP... Both are apparently fall 2006, or early next year. The site is: (in German)
