gregory_roush
Two questions after setting up my new D200:1. Can the multiselector be set to wrap the AF points on the D200 when pressing it in the same direction like on the F100 or D70? I can't seem to find the custom function in the menu or manual. 2. Setting the Func button for autobracket burst when on AF-S, it seems I first have to turn on bracketing in the usual way, then press and hold the func button while pressing shutter release-true? So it's not simply a one-step operation in AF-S.
david_h._hartman
1) Yes, see page 151 in your D200 manual. 2) Don't know, sorry.
david_h._hartman
The easiest way to find this stuff is to do a search of the PDF manual using Adobe Reader 7.0.x (or whatever is current) using its search tools.<br> <br> Best,<br> <br> Dave Hartman. david_h._hartman
I did something similar with an F5 feature sometime ago and someone here gave me a page number. It was right in front of my nose but I missed it several times. Now I use the PDF manual and usually find what I need fairly quickly. I've almost never opened my D2H hard copy due the the PDF. Best, Dave.

So it's not simply a one-step operation in AF-S. Yes it can be done. You have to set rate to CL or CH instead of S (behind the WB and ISO buttons). Then the focus is made only once in AF-S mode for all the bracketing frames, and the D200 stop shooting at the end of the bracketing serie. Just keep the shutter button pressed. Good pics. _____________________ my D200 page in French : http://ramal.free.fr/nikon_d200.htm
wu_wi_wong
Try going to the new Nikon Digitutor.com page. It will visualy walk you through the D200.
