Where do you go for replacement battery holders?

Hi --

 

 

My battery holder is on its absolute *last* legs... it's cracked and it takes

special care when removing, loading, and reinserting.

 

Ideas on where to pick up a replacement?

When I needed one for my Nikon F-3 I searched the internet and found a lot of options. Have you done that yet? Then I searched eBay and found lots of additional options. Then I contacted my local Nikon authorized repair center and found that they could supply the part.

 

The option I liked best (combination of good price and trustworthy merchant) was B&H in NYC. I ordered over the net with a credit card and had the part in about 4 days. It was a genuine Nikon replacement part, too.

I have been searching everywhere for a replacement battery holder for a Pentax 645 and have

come up empty handed. B&H lists a replacement grip for an outrageous $245, but it is out of

stock. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to find a battery holder?

The 200+ item is the whole grip. I believe Michel is referring to the compartment that holds 6 AA batteries. If you are in US, the simpliest way is to call Pentax and/or Pentax's authorized repairing shops for parts purchase.
