jan_busser Posted June 9, 2005 Share Posted June 9, 2005 HelloI own a brandnew MZ-10 and a secondhand Cobra AF700 flashgun with Spotbeam (on the flashunit itself ánd on the progrip.)The flasunit is Pentax-dedicated and everything works fine exept for the Spotbeam: not on the flashunit neither on the powergrip.Note: When I attach the flashgun I cannot flip open open the build in Flashlight (maybe nessacery???)Has anyone an idea how I can test the flashunit and the camera?Do I have to use one of the predefined settings on the camera, I don't know anyting about dedicated flasguns.By the way, the manuals of the flasgun are on www.herpetologie.nl/cobra700 for people who want to know someting about the flashgun.Thanks, JB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
m_p7 Posted June 9, 2005 Share Posted June 9, 2005 I used to use a ZX-10 with a dedicated Metz 54MZ-3 and the IR focus beam worked. I suspect the flash's IR isn't working. Can you try another camera and/or flash with it? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
