Any recommendations for screen protection for the 1DM2? Thanks!

Try those cheap peel off covers that they sell for PDA's/Palm Pilots. You can cut them down to the correct size. I think you can buy them at Best Buy/Comp Usa/Circuit City.

Or better yet, don't bother. Canon will sell you a replacement plastic screen protector for a

couple of bucks. When your current one gets banged up and scratched enough, just pull it

off and put the new one on.

Be sure to measure the entire back of the camera and not just the image screen and let them know what you need or they will send you a protector that is too small.

You do the screen replacement yourself.

 

Just pull it off. It's held there by some sticky stuff that is applied to the screen. Peel the

protective paper off the new sticky stuff, and slap it on. I suppose you could pay some

Canon tech to do it for $150, but for such a simple operation it seems like kind of a waste.
