patrick_f
Hello, tonight while trying to adjust a photoflex 293 extra large softbox, I broke one of the aluminum poles that supports it's form. PO'ed to say the least! I checked on B&H and Adorama to see if I could order an extra pole or two...too no avail. If anyone knows where I can order an extra aluminum pole, I would greatly appreciate it, as this is costing me business!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!! josphy
I bet you could get it directly from the manufacturer. Just give them a call.
paul -
I once broke a rod from a softbox and used a cut section from a fiberglass fishing pole blank to replace it.
digitmstr
The fishing pole is not a bad idea. Also, camping and other equipment may in fact provide a cheaper and even more flexible and durable than the one Photoflex includes with its boxes. I am surprise though, as their boxes are quite sturdy!

jeff bishop
For a quick, if even temporary fix, you could use a replacement pole section for tents. I'm pretty sure K-mart and Wal-mart have them in the sporting section.
