sudhir1
Hi, I just upgraded from the Canon 10D to 30D. I have a very basic question, could not find the info in the user manual nor in the search. In the 10D, when I take a shot, I have the option to have the preview with the histogram, so that I can check the exposure as soon as I take the shot instead of having to playback and press the info button. I have been trying to find that option in 30D. I do see the Histogram with Brightness and sRGB in the Menu. But where do I set the preview with the histogram ? Thanks for your time. Rgds, Sudhir
jani_k
Sudhir, Press play button to see images in lcd then press Info button to select how you want to look images in lcd. Image without any info / image with short shooting info / image with histogram and other info. Images are previewed in same mode as you last time checked your images from lcd. Hope I understood your question correctly and this helps. Jani
Nicholas Barry
While reviewing the shot, press the Info. button to the view you want. The camera will remember the setting for subsequent shots until you change it again.
bennyboy
Press the playback button, now press the info button until you see the histogram. Take a shot, the preview should show the histogram.
