Era 100 Chinese Film in Diafine

Recommended Posts

Here are a few photos of a day I took some ERA 100 to the cematary with my

daughter.

It was not just an intersting but a darn funny trip. The wearher went from

Real sun to a Thunderstorm with tornadic winds and hail back and forth. I fell

into a sunken grave and made my daughter laugh her ass off by saying. "Well I

think though I am now a little lower on this planet I am still above what is

below me."

I have more pictures from this outing but I will save those for later...

I used Diafine because it allows me to get an idea on the real IE of a film and

this stuff is a good solid 100 in anything I can see and about 200-250 in

Diafine. I have 9 more rolls the next one is in good old D-76. I would tell you

that this is a real sharp and the grain in Diafine is .. Fine.

Very nice shots. I find the ERA 100 to be a very decent film, handles high contrast pretty well too. I've had nice success with it in D-76 at 1:1. It supposedly costs less than $1.00 USD a roll if you buy it in China. I used to live there and wish I had stocked up. Might go back soon to visit the wife's family and if I do I'll definitely get a load of it. <p>

I got this film from a friend of a friend. I like it but there are so many other films that I can get easyer and since I roll alot of my own I will chock these rolls up to ...I" tryed it I liked it and I will keep it in mind if they ever start selling it around where I live." I still have 200 feet of Plus-X and 100 feet of Adox 100 in that speed range.

Thanks
