adaptor for Carl Zeiss lenses

I have owned CONTAX 35 mm equipment for many years.

Since I have a wide range of high quality manual lenses I would

like to use them with a digital body, i.e. CANON.

Where can I find adapters, who manufactures them, which are most

usefull in terms of quality. No sense of spending much money for

mediocraty if indeed the quality of my lenses does not transfer properly.

Thanks, Peter

Cameraquest for about $175.00 and Bob Shell for about $150.00. I think there is a German company also that manufactures high quality C/Y adaptors for the Canon digital. I read somewhere that one should keep away from "bargans" for this product that appear on Ebay as the tolorences for the Bargan basement adaptors are not exact. Good luck.

The bargain adaptors are just fine, at least, the Nikon ones are. I bought half a dozen and have had no problems so far. The mounts are totally manual, of course, so you have to stop down once you've focussed. The Nikon throat is relatively narrow, so that might make them easier to manufacture than for the wider C/Y mount, but for the 25 euros/dollars or so that they cost, I'd certainly give it a go if I had Contax lenses.<div>00HCPY-31019884.jpg.83c66ec17185103883d508737746430b.jpg</div>
