brien_szabo
Well my system crashed and I had to reinstall Windows - thanks goodness I had done a recent back up of files but did not make a backup for my favorites of which I lost countless bookmarks. Since I was so used to just clicking favorites, I forgot all the web addresses - so begins a new journey. I was wondering if anyone can supply me with the Navy(?) sunrise sunset page - I've seen it posted here in the past but cannot find it. Also, I am looking for the Tide Chart Calculator for the Northeast - it also served other parts of the Atlantic Coast as well. Any help would be great as I try to recover an awful lot of lost sites - thanks all.

lancemcvay
Sun (& moon) rise and set are also available at <a href="http://almanac.com"target="new">almanac.com.
They've also got tide tables, but they are a bit less accurate (for southeast Alaska, at any rate) than local charts.
By the way, Casio makes several watches with Sun/Moon & tide data. I've got a G-shock digital that I recently picked up that has 6 or more locations you can store to get rough estimates on tides, moon phase, moon highest point, and sunrise/sunset. Oh, it also tells the time and all that.
