jessamyn_harris
hee hee... I was just thinking of this today! I used to work for a female photographer who bemoaned her photographer's wrinkle(s) and had me clean them up in photoshop before sending the photo of her to a mag for the contributors' page : )
at the time I thought it was no big deal... now that I'm almost the ripe old age of 27, though, I'm noticing that I'm getting them too! strangely it seems to be more on the eye I keep open. I can only guess that I shut the non-shooting eye gently, and kind of keep the shooting eye in a weird half squint, creating more wrinkles. who knows. I've decided they're cute, and look like I laugh a lot.
I very much like the posts which have suggested we wear them as badges of honor! and to be honest, I kind of resent the "you're a man so don't worry about it" posts... as it implies that we females should worry about it... so let's just none of us worry about it. as long as we all know photoshop, and continue to hide behind our cameras, who's the wiser? : )
