randall_pukalo
Just got my Kiev 66 medium format slide projector!!! Total cost, including air shipping was under $400. It is new in box, and comes with 2 lenses, multiple slide trays, and even 6x6 glass slide mounts, plus a spare bulb! I will report back on how well it works - doesnt look damaged from shipping though. If this works, its been a great deal!
pok_hon_wally_yu
Sounds interesting! Do you get it directly from Hartblei? Do let us know after you have a test-run.
wolfee
Randall. Can't wait to hear your report. Do you know if this will accept Rollei 66 lenses?
randall_pukalo
Yes, directly from Hartblei, they are legit. www.hartblei.com. Waiting now for a 110v to 220v converter. One lens is for 35mm, 1 for 6x6. dont know about the Rollei lenses fitting, but the glass in these lenses looks good. Will update once I get the converter (this cost me $40). pok_hon_wally_yu
I read the Hartblei page and it says the power mode switch (110V/220V) is built-in. Why do you still need a power converter?
gary_gumanow
OK Randy, Where do you live so that we can borrow this from you? Or, have a shared showing of 6x6 slides? ;-)
