splat Posted May 12, 2006 Share Posted May 12, 2006 I have no regrets really but the 70-200 2.8IS is far from my most used lens. It is a great lens yes, but on my 20D I find it too long most of the time. I'd say the 24-70 is used for 95% of my shots but when I look at my favorite shots (top 0.5% maybe) the 70-200 was used in about half. I love the lens but it didn't improve my pictures near as much as going from a kit lens to the 24-70. Probably has more to do with the order I purchased things in then anything else but while I never once thought maybe I had wasted money on the 24-70 the thought has crossed my mind about the 70-200 (then I dismiss it because I love the lens) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
