lynnwood42
I am looking for my second digital camera. I would like to purchase either the minolta dimage z5 or the kodak z7590 (which is replacing the dx7590). Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with either of these two? Also, how about the editing software that comes with it? I know kodak's easyshare software is great and 'easy' to use, but I have no idea about minoltas?! Help! I would like to purchase one asap! sl attanapola
Buy a Panasonic FZ5 or FZ20 - they are better cameras than the Minolta Dimage Z5 or Kodak Z7590.All the reviews say so. The Kodak has no image stabilisation and the Minolta has a worse lens and higher noise at high ISO than either of the Panasonics.
drjedsmith
Another vote for the Panasonic FZ20. Minolta makes good cameras, but not the Z5. Way too much noise. If you want Minolta, get an A2 or A200. Fairly good price right now if you look at www.dpreview.com then click on the current price link.<BR> Jed
