I want a lens case to carry both my 17-40L with hood and 70-200 f4L without hood. The LC3 isn't wide enough for the 17-40 hood (I use a 1W which although it's not wide enough is about the right height so it doesn't bounce around. They make a line of pouches for professionals (whatever that means) that are terrific. I used them on an Appalachian Trail hike two weeks ago and then last weekend at Darlington SC NASCAR race. They worked great. They are expensive so might not be for everybody but are very well made and thought-out. (I have no connection to them--just liked the looks of the stuff and bought some.)
