m._lucas
I'm having a problem rewinding my film. I've done it before without a problem. This is the 2nd time I'm using the camera, and it seems that the film is stuck. The rewind knob won't turn at all. I tried forcing it, then the rewind knock, somehow, got loose and it's turning - but not rewinding the film. So, in the dark, I opened the back of the camera to "see" what was going on. I tried rewinding the film by hand, but it just seems too tightly wound around the spool. Maybe I loaded the film incorrectly... Is there any hope for my film? Or must I trash it? Help, please! justin_smith2
I used to have a Smena 8M. If I recall correctly, you must hold down the shutter button while turning the rewind knob. Hope this helps!
waite_watson
You hold the shutter button down & give it a 1/4 turn...if I remember correctly....& it should stay down.If that doesn't work I think you're done for.Is this the plastic cheapy with the decend lens that freestyle had a few years back?I bought 3 of them & none of them last past a few rolls of film. m._lucas
So, I locked the shutter button down, but the rewind knob seemed like it wasn't catching, and I ended up rewinding the film by hand... Yeah, I got it awhile back from Freestyle. Do you recommend any other photographic supply website?
