kennyahn
I shoot with two 20D's. As I was testing the lighting before shootingat an event today, I came upon something that troubled me. One of my20D bodies, when shooting in Av priority, consistently selected afaster shutter causing darker images. I took the same shot with thesame lens with the same settings (same ISO, same Av priority, etc.)with my other body and the picture came out just fine. Any ideas on why my other 20D body kept selecting a faster shutter?I'm wondering if I need to turn this into Canon for repair. Thanks inadvance everyone! willhl
I'm going to state the absolute obivous since I'm sure it is the first things you checked but lets get it out of the way. Exposure compensation both set the same?
eosdoc
There are several camera settings that can affect metering in Av mode.

Sensitivity (ISO)
Ambient Metering pattern
NEVEC if set to Evaluative metering mode
C.Fn-14 if set to allow fill-flash reduction
C.Fn-03 if the shutter speed is fixed at X-sync
Have you read the entire instruction manual?
