kristen riley
Hi. I found a picture on photo.net that I really admire. Here is the link. http://www.photo.net/photo/3136613 If anyone knows how to get this effect during post processing in Photoshop please let me know. I would really like to try it. Thanks in advance. jpbarilguerard
Some Diffuse Glow, I'd say. Maybe a Gaussian Blur duplicate layer set to Screen or Lighten.
beauh44
That's a nice shot. I'm not sure if this is exactly the technique that was used but it's pretty close. Good luck!
kirk_thompson
I believe Michael Reichmann put an article about this on his Luminous Landscape site some time ago.
olivier_reichenbach
I don't know if that's what you're looking for but here is how I did this picture of my grandson: - Usual corrections for crop, levels, color balance and saturation. - Mode 8 bits - Duplicate layer - Gaussian blur 35 to 45% - Blend "down" (in "Blending options") to between 30 and 35% ("to taste") - Layer mask (the little white circle at the bottom of the layer palette. You'll know you're there when the background color goes to white) - Brush tool to bring back eyes and mouth to non-blurred - Flatten - Last corrections for saturation, contrast and brightness. Nice, but a bit artificial for my taste.
