luis triguez
Rob, Yes I read The Story if San Michel time ago. Hope things will change and people could understand, one day, the importance to keep the species.
luis triguez
Vivek, I always take notice of your advises. About your shot: Green is nice. Mild picture
vivek iyer
Luis, Thanks! I chose this image because I was not at all thrilled with the image quality of the original capture. This is one version of it. I saw a fern dancing. Yes, your points about Rob's efforts are well taken and I appreciate it. I have pointed that to Rob previously. One of my favorite photographers here is James Kim. I try to learn how to compose a shot from his work, among other things. Much more enjoyable than reading any boring book. It is a matter of what photography means to someone, I guess. That said, it would always be useful to hear something more than, "what an aweful picture" comment. In Dan's case I think I understand where he is coming from based on his tastes and obsession with sharpness/clarity. I do not know about the others (Walter and "Nikon F"). A full fledged praise like, "nice shot" amounts to the same, IMO, as well.
