Does it work as the canon brand remote does? Are all the functions (half press = focus, full press = shutter fire, a shutter lock for bulb exposures) of the canon remote found on the EL Cheapo? The item listings say all these things are features of the El Cheapos, but anybody can say anything and it still not be true. I'd like to hear from actual users of the off brand releases. It arrived in short time and works perfectly, does all the things you mention (I have the 20D). eric bond Posted May 13, 2005 Share Posted May 13, 2005 Likewise, I bought an Adidt release for my 20D. I've had mine over a month with no issues.
