photoyann10
Hello John, You need for your PME 3 a Varta V28PXL battery (lithium). Use this one (Varta lithium) . I had some problems with the SONY silver oxyde, don't use this one! Regards. Yannick Michel
john_lee23
I put in a Duracell 6v battery from my light meter and the meter seems to work. In addition, how does the PME3 knows what is the shutter speed setting? On it, I see a setting for ASA and Max Aperture for the lens. Without knowing the shutter speed how does it give an EV reading? Does anyone know the formula for converting EV to f/stop?
photoyann10
You set the sensibility of your film AND the maximum aperture of your lens on the prism then you will read an EV number. You just have to set this EV number on your Hasselbad lens then choose your aperture/speed combination.
