35-135mm f3.5-4.5 AF Lens instructions

Hi,

 

I just got this nice Nikon Nikkor 35-135mm f3.5-4.5 AF lens and am wondering if

anyone knows where I can get the online instructions (or if someone can scan

their's and email it to me), I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi,

 

I don't have a manual but I have a AF push and pull zoom version of this. There isn't that much to it really. Important thing to remember is that Macro only works at 35mm, you need to press a button in order to focus at macro. And if you want the automatic aperture change on modern camera body then you have to set it at the minimum aperture and push the apperture lock button.

Other than what was posted above, the only other really useful thing in the instructions is the depth of field scale. There are online DOF calculators and scales that you can use instead, though.

 

The filter threads are 62mm. The hood is the HB-2, I believe (google to be sure :) ).
