john_a.
Ok I admitted my addiction by selling off some gear to get the M8. Who else has succumbed to their desires? BTW .58 M7 and IIIg still available....
yeti
To avoid buying the M8, I bought a D200 three months ago...<br> BTW, I finally decided that I will buy the M8 too (sooner or later :O)
phong
I almost certainly will; I'd like to check the camera out in preson, as well as get some photos from production units. I have been waiting for a digital M for several years now, and am glad that Leica finally did it. I also hope for a full frame digital M in the future. al_kaplan1
I'm waiting for Huw's full frame CL digital conversion for $89.95 including shipping in the U.S. That'll be a handy little camera to carry about. In the meantime I have about 100 rolls of ISO 400 B&W in the fridge and the M2 and M3 bodies are smiling ;-) Even the Bessa L bodies seems content. raymond_tai
I bought a new F6 and 100 rolls of HP5+ earlier this month. My digital fetish has been satisfied by the RD-1 and the Oly E-1 which I like very much for its film like tones.
dennis_couvillion
Naaaah... I'm still waiting for the digital Holga. They're cheaper by the dozen. ;>)
peter_n1664876959
I'm buying an M9 when it comes out.
todd frederick
Surprise, surprise...there IS a digital Holga. Randy Smith of Holgamods make a body cap adapter for Nikon and Canon digital cameras that attaches the awesome Holga lens to the bodies of those camera. I use Olympus digital and he made an adapter with a focusing Holga lens for my E-1 and E-300. They work great!
vinay_patel
Buying an M8, yes. Selling off gear to pay for it, no.
dan flanders
Due to the onset of age and arthritis I have decided to forego obtaining an M8. Compared to spending thirteen grand on a walk-in bathtub to three grand plus on a digital system, the former seems to afford the most bang for the buck. I can still play with my Barnacks and ease my infirmities before retiring for the night.
len_smith
Yes, I have ordered an M8. Yes, I have sold gear to help fund the purchase ... ... but I didn't really need all of those four 90mm lenses and five bodies, did I? ;-)
