bob jr.
Hi! What is an alternative to ProShow Gold? Also, do you all have a recommendation as to an audio editing program that works well with whatever slideshow program you recommend? (I have an OLYMPUS WS-310M sound recorder, which puts out stereo .WMA files.)

daydreamsart
Pictures to EXE for creating the slide show, Audacity (freeware) for audio editing, and Ulead DVD Movie Factory for burning the slide show as a DVD movie.
steve goldhaber
I bought showitweb a couple weeks ago and have great success with it. You don't have 100% control over everything, but you can get a slideshows up in about 30 minutes with custom music and transitions. Here's a link to the site - www.showitfast.com Hope this helps. david_schilling___chicago_
So what's wrong with ProShow Gold??? Works great for me.
david_banks2
David, The problem I have found (apart from it not running on a mac as alredy mentioned) is that you have to download a plug-in to be able to view online shows. Chances are most people will not bother.
david_schilling___chicago_
For online shows, I use the Showit software. For client DVDs, it's hard to beat proshow gold.........
