joe_austin1
I have been using the EOS3 with the BP-E2 and NIMH batteries (1550mah) and they have been working fine. I don't get anything like the published number of rolls from a set , but I don't get them with lithium batts either.
meikel
Dear Christian,I have both the 3 and the 1V and they work both fine with BP-E2 and Lithium batteries, no problems here.I had a few problems with battery run time with my 3, however I have found out, that with the Batterery pack, the 3 gains much more rolls out of each battery set than with the standard handgrip. I also switched once to the handgrip of the 1V (can be purchased separately) and found that battery enduracne is much longer also. I my case, it was a bit extreme, a lithium set (C2R5) lasted with the 300/4,0 IS only for 4-5 rolls, changing the handgrip it lasted for 20-25 rolls.I figure there is something wrong with the standard handgrip, as it is not very costly, switching to the 1V´s standard, might be considered a valuable option. Hope this helped.Cheers
