peter_werner1
Some beautiful pictures, Trevor.

The exif data tells me at 1/400th sec and f/2.8 and 4.6mm
I do not have data for shutter speed in the exif. Are they eaten away by Photoshop? What program do you use to read the exif?
Peter
terry_rory
I checked the EXIF data looking at the original jpg file on Picasa. (Right click then 'properties' shows some of the EXIF data in Picasa) Cannot do this with with the images that I have 'saved for web'. (But I usually keep the original.) In the meantime I found out that you can see the exposure (always of the original file) in PS CS2 under /File/File Info.../Advanced/EXIF Properties/exif:Exposure Time

pierre_claquin1
Trevor, Peter and other shooters Excellent pictures, a pleasure to watch. Mostly taken at 80 ASA. I did consider getting the camera but was put off by several reviews saying the noise was a real problem at 400 ASA and above and even at 100/200 ASA. Any comment? peter_werner1
was put off by several reviews saying the noise was a real problem at 400 ASA and above and even at 100/200 ASA. Any comment?

Pierre,
If you need high ISO (ASA) this camera might not be the first choice. However consider the following. With the excellent OIS anti-shake you gain 3 to 4 EVs, you can get sharp pictures at speeds as low as 1/15 sec at ISO=80 where with other cameras you would need a faster speed of say 1/125 and thus higher ISO values.
It has never disturbed me, but if you are for instance interested in low-light sports photography than you might prefer to choose another camera.
You may also have a look at my low-light photos on W/NW c-lux Night Photographs
What I particularly like about this camera is the color rendition, sharpness and contrast of the excellent Leica lens, as well as the 28mm wide angle. I use it more and more when I do not want to carry along the weight and bulk of the R9+DMR or Nikon D200 DSLR systems.
Peter
