dinesh_hukmani
Does anyone help in comaring lens 28-105 from Tamron, Sigma, Nikon? Which is the best value for money?
hung_james_wasson
I have no experience with the 28-105 offerings from Tamron or Sigma. I like Sigma products. Price point is very much a factor here -- the Nikkor 24-120 is supposed to be fantastic, but much more expensive than perhaps what you're looking for. jimstrutz
I have had the 28-105 f/2.8-4 Sigma. It was a dog. Very soft wide open, and not all that good stopped down.
ivan_verschoote1
The Nikon 28-105/3.5-4.5 is a bit more expensive, but is by far the best of the bunch.
melvin_bramley
I have the Nikkor 24-120. It had some focus problems;but after a service by Nikon it is now a fine performer. At the short end it is almost as good as my 24mmAI manual lens. You will find some sample variations!!!(poor quality control) with many of the new zooms from all manufacturers.
