jammer_jammer
I just called to order the Eye One Display 2. While I was talking about
price, I was asked why not just go with the Eye One if I was not going to
be using two monitors. I was told that there is no difference between the
two calibrators except that the Display 2 can take care of two monitors.
Since this was just a kid taking orders, I wanted to come here and make sure
that is actually the case. Is there any reason to go for the Display 2 if
I'm only ever going to use one monitor?
andrew_rodney1
The version 2 is faster and allows measuring of ambient light which is useful. Get it.
jammer_jammer
Thanks Rodney. I was told by this same order taker, that the Eye One also measures for ambient light. Is that not the case? I don't really care about the speed and I could save $80.00 by going with just the Eye One.
andrew_rodney1
The original doesn't and you want that option. The guy who told you that the difference was based on the ability to calibrate multiple displays isn't correct there either.
