www.antiquecameras.net
just got a Fuji GS645S ( all manual camera with 60mm/F4 ). After I finished my first roll, I opened the back to discover the film was very loosely rolled on the take up spool - to the point of coming up and over the edge of the spool ! Roll was ruined.
I loaded the film properly and, I thought, fairly taught... I am a long time user of roll film, so its not inexperience... I re-read the manual and it does make specific mention to hold the film tightly while loading....anyone else having issues. I am afraid to use the camera... wayne_firth3
I had this happen when I first got my wide Fuji (45mm). A Fuji tech guy told me to bend the silver roller out a bit to provide more pressure on the roll. I did and it hasn't happened since.

Glenn McCreery
Sheldon has the answer. When I first got my GS635S the edges of the film showed light leaks. I thought that this was due to poor film door seals, but no, it was due to the film being loosly wound and occurred when I removed the film in daylight. Tightly winding the film before closing the door cured this problem.
