bill poole
When the camera is carried on the stap over the shoulder, this little little cogged wheel rubs against one's clothing, changing the setting and requiring constant readjustment. Anyone found a solution to this short of taping the sucker down?
aaron_lam
I don't have this problem but why not some gaffer tape.
michaelging
William , I have the 1D and it drive me a little nuts too. I was thinking about sliding a O ring over the top of the little wheel to add drag to it and maybe keep it from turning. I also thought of super glue ,but figure that would mess up my Karma. boris_ochan
"Anyone found a solution to this short of taping the sucker down?" Sure, just carry the camera with the lens facing inwards. It's also more comfortable.
bill poole
Thanks to all. I like to o-ring idea. As for carrying the camera lens-to-body--it's certainly worth a try. Thanks again, Bill Poole
