Negative to positive in photoshop

In photoshop, how do I change a scanned negative into a positive?

The invert command does not seem to be right to me, because it does

not take into account the orage mask. Anyone can help?

Scan the film using the software that comes with the scanner. If you select "negative", the software will automatically remove the orange mask and invert the colors. If the software has a TWAIN driver, you can also scan from the Photoshop menu, but the same procedure applies.

 

If you scan as a positive, the image will be too blue if you simply invert it in Photoshop.
