michelle a.
Is it possible to change the distance range scale on the SB800 frommeters to feet? On my older, far less fancy SB27 I had the ability tochange this scale to feet from the metric system. If it's mentionedin the manual I'm not finding it. And a search of these forums yieldsno answers. I'd really like it if I didn't have to preform mathematical equationsto figure out if I'm in the proper distance range or not. lex_jenkins
You may need to keep the button pressed down for several seconds before it responds. I'm guessing that Nikon designed this *feature* (there are never any "glitches", only "features" or "benefits") into the SB-800 to minimize the risk of accidentally changing settings. But it does slow things down a bit when you actually want to change settings. Otherwise, an amazing flash unit.
michelle a.
Thank you Lex.... and Errol. That worked although I did indeed need to hold the select button down for more than a few seconds. And at first it didn't seem to want to work. I do appreciate it!
