SB800 Distance Range Scale?

Is it possible to change the distance range scale on the SB800 from

meters to feet? On my older, far less fancy SB27 I had the ability to

change this scale to feet from the metric system. If it's mentioned

in the manual I'm not finding it. And a search of these forums yields

no answers.

 

I'd really like it if I didn't have to preform mathematical equations

to figure out if I'm in the proper distance range or not.

Push Sel to get the menue. It is the third feture down from the top on the right. Hope it helps.

You may need to keep the button pressed down for several seconds before it responds.

 

I'm guessing that Nikon designed this *feature* (there are never any "glitches", only "features" or "benefits") into the SB-800 to minimize the risk of accidentally changing settings. But it does slow things down a bit when you actually want to change settings.

 

Otherwise, an amazing flash unit.

Thank you Lex.... and Errol. That worked although I did indeed need to hold the select button down for more than a few seconds. And at first it didn't seem to want to work. I do appreciate it!
