For those of you with older bodies as well as those of you with older cameras, you are required to immediately report to a Leica repair center for retrofitting. The mirror-flop sound will be available in both analog and digital formats. For an extra fee, Leica will customize your mirror-flop sound into a Rock, Rap, Operatic or Orchestral arrangement. Those of you with Hermes Editions may go to your local retailer where you will be overcharged for the same service. Leica has tried to minimize the fact that delivery of all new cameras already containing the mirror-flop sound has been delayed due to a flare problem. Nonetheless, this is your opportunity to perform a public service and limit the spread of clandestine photography in your neighborhood while making the planet a safer place.
