I would just like to wish everybody a wonderful, happy, and safe Holiday!! Thank you to everybody, and of course our moderator Shawn, for making this such a cool forum to be a part of. The photography posted here lately is truly the most pertinent and heartfelt there is. I wish everybody the best, and we'll be catching you next year. Same time, same place, y'all! :0<p>

i would like to echo tony's sentiment concerning my wishes for long

nights and good times for all the participants herein. i also want

to voice my opinion that this site has the potential to become the

highest quality source of hands on learning process on the net. the

quality of images is indeed generally high--but the thing that sets

this outfit apart is the ability of many of the posters here and

those who only appear for the purpose of critical analyses to provide

very literate insights into the strengths and weaknesses of the

images that appear in the forum.

may i suggest that we attempt to expand the number of similarly

talented participants over this holiday period by hauling the keenest

observers and photographers available in some of the other, larger

forums over here to people photography? i know that this could be an

exercise not without its problems; but i think it may be better to be

a little more populated than a little less.

Wayne, I've often thought of plugging PPF on PDN etc., but, excluding

the original posting I sent out to the forums to introduce it, I've

never really figured out a way to 'hint hint, nudge nudge' the site

into a question without seeming blatent. We could always just hold

P.G. hostage or something, though...

But in truth, from what I can see here today, YOU (all) are already

making this site ACTUALLY great, not just something 'with potential'

(my words of course...).

OK they've finished the first part of their exam. gotta go for now.

See you all in the new year. Hopefully you'll get lucky and I'll stay

as quiet as I have been...or not (bad horror music...).
