In case anyone is still following this thread...Mathew thanks for

sharing your knowledge and insight. My point in the 1st posting

was that they can and will kill you...but if it is any consolation they

probably won't eat you. If they do ...they won't eat all of you, there

will be some remains for your family to dispose of in a proper

burial...probably not open casket though!

 

David...my source(s) on that bit of info concerning Hoshino are

several of the biggest names in the business today...like you, I

have never seen anything written about it, but I was told by three

top names that many big names refused to ever go out and

shoot with him because of his back country ettiquite.(sp?) From

what I have been told by those photogs (who I assume to be

reliable) Hoshino was apparently an accident waiting to happen.

Thanks for the link. The images of these kids are just shocking literally. I have serious concerns for the animals and the humans. There needs to be a National effort to stop this kind of behavior and education is where it is at. I hope that your story about this and I hope you will bring it to the government?s attention and get some big names behind you.

 

Bob thanks for the assistant advice. I need to get one. But I think I have heard that from a friend of mine in Seattle, a world renowned Nature Photographer. But it lightened the mood. So thanks.

I thought that some of you information was great. You are correct that this is a highly dangerous environment and added stress will just be the ?icing on the cake?.
